While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Sunday 29-June-2025

BEIRUT, (PIC)

Three Lebanese citizens were killed and others injured on Saturday following two Israeli airstrikes on two towns in southern Lebanon, marking another ceasefire violation.

Lebanese media sources reported that an Israeli drone targeted a vehicle in the town of Kouneen in southern Lebanon, resulting in the death of one citizen and injuring another.

Later, the Lebanese health ministry announced the martyrdom of two citizens, including a woman, following an Israeli airstrike on a motorcycle in the town of Ma'hrouna in the Soor (Tyre) district.

The woman happened to be passing by at the time the strike took place. Another citizen also suffered injuries in the same location.

The Israeli occupation army continues to target towns, cars and motorcycles in different areas of southern Lebanon despite a ceasefire agreement that started on November 27, 2025.

Under the agreement, Israel was to withdraw all its forces from southern Lebanon, but despite the deal, these forces have remained at five Lebanese border positions.

IOF destroys 1,000 Palestinian homes in 3 West Bank refugee camps since January

Sunday 29-June-2025

WEST BANK, (PIC)

Two Palestinian committees revealed on Saturday that the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) have destroyed more than 1,000 homes in the Jineen, Toulkarm, and Nour Shams refugee camps in the northern West Bank since the beginning of its military aggression there.

On January 21, the IOFs launched a military operation in the northern West Bank under the name “Iron Wall,” starting in the city of Jineen and its refugee camp. The operation later expanded to include the Toulkarm and Nour Shams camps and is still ongoing.

The Media Committee in Jineen refugee camp said in a press release that the IOFs has completely demolished more than 600 homes in the camp, while the remaining houses were partially damaged and rendered uninhabitable.

The committee noted that the Israeli aggression on the city and its camp has continued for the 159th consecutive day, marked by bulldozing operations, the burning of homes, and the conversion of several houses into military posts.

It added that the number of Palestinian martyrs since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the city and its camp has reached 42, in addition to dozens of injuries and arrests.

The committee also confirmed that the IOFs aggression has led to the forced displacement of around 22,000 residents who were compelled to leave their homes.

Meanwhile, the Media Committee in Tulkarem reported that IOF bulldozers have completely destroyed 400 homes and partially damaged 2,573 homes in the Toulkarm and Nour refugee Shams camps.

In its statement, the committee indicated that the IOFs announced its intention to demolish 106 buildings in the two refugee camps, which include more than 250 housing units.

It pointed out that the IOFs continue its aggression against Tulkarem for the 152nd day and against Nour Shams refugee camp for the 140th consecutive day. This has resulted in the killing of 13 people, including a child and two women—one of whom was pregnant—along with dozens of injuries and arrests.

The Media Committee further explained that 5,000 families—totaling more than 25,000 individuals—have been forcibly displaced from the camps and are living under harsh humanitarian conditions. It confirmed that the Israeli army has sealed off the entrances of the camps, preventing anyone from entering, and has turned the areas into near-dead zones.

IOFs kidnap several Palestinians, assault others in the West Bank

Sunday 29-June-2025

WEST BANK, (PIC)

Last night and early Sunday, the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) carried out raids across various areas of the West Bank, during which they kidnapped several Palestinians and assaulted two individuals.

According to local sources, the IOFs stormed different areas of Nablus, including Balata refugee camp, Al-Masakin Al-Sha'biyah neighborhood, and the old 'Askar refugee camp, amid clashes in some areas.

In Al-Khaleel (Hebron), the IOFs stormed Yatta City and kidnapped one citizen from Ikhlal Al-Hems area, southeast of the city.

An elderly man suffered injuries after Israeli occupation soldiers assaulted him in Masafir Yatta in southern Al-Khaleel (Hebron), according to the Red Crescent.

In Jineen, Red Crescent paramedics provided first aid for a citizen and then transferred him to a hospital after he was severely beaten by the Israeli occupation soldiers, near the 'Ali Baba Palace on the bypass road.

The IOFs reportedly kidnapped one citizen from Jineen City and another one from Qalqilya.

The IOFs also stormed the towns of Baitounya and Beer Zait, in Ramallah, amid clashes with local youths.

Eight other citizens were taken prisoners during IOFs raids on Toulkarm and Bait Le'hem (Bethlehem).

IOFs expans systematic destruction in Jineen as West Bank faces growing aggression

Sunday 29-June-2025

WEST BANK, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) continue to intensify their assault across the West Bank, executing widespread demolitions and military raids, while enabling a sharp rise in settler violence against Palestinian communities—all amid ongoing international silence.

In Jineen, in the northern West Bank, the IOFs stormed the refugee camp Saturday evening, detonating a home and triggering massive plumes of smoke and explosions across the city.

Bulldozers carried out further destruction inside the camp, as part of a campaign Israel publicly declared on June 9 to demolish nearly 100 homes.

According to Jenin’s municipality, more than 600 homes have already been completely destroyed, while dozens more are now uninhabitable due to partial damage requiring full reconstruction.

Meanwhile, a tight siege remains in place on the Toulkarm and Nour Shams refugee camps, alongside heavy military patrols.

Local sources say IOFs are preparing to demolish another 106 buildings in these camps, part of a broader military operation launched January 21 and now expanding across northern West Bank regions.

In Nablus, settlers—backed by IOF soldiers—attacked the home of the Soufan family in the village of Burin, forcing the residents out and erecting a tent at the site, suggesting intentions of a permanent settler outpost.

Nearby, violent clashes erupted in the village of Tel between residents and combined forces of settlers and IOFs units.

In Aree'ha (Jericho), settlers invaded the Shallal Al-'Auja Bedouin community, walking through residential areas in an apparent attempt to impose new colonial realities on the ground.

This was mirrored by events in Khirbet Samra near Tubas, where six Palestinian families were forced to leave their homes after enduring two years of sustained settler violence.

Military raids also swept through Ramallah, Qalqilya, Tulkarem, and Al-Khalil, with heavy use of live fire and tear gas, particularly in Al-Fawwar and Al-'Arroub refugee camps in the southern West Bank.

These attacks are seen as part of Israel’s wider campaign of aggression, escalating since October 7, 2023, with direct US support.

Israeli occupation apartheid regime police arrest over 561 Palestinian workers in mass campaign

Sunday 29-June-2025

NAZARETH, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime police announced Sunday the arrest of 561 Palestinian workers last week across the 1948 Palestinian occupied territories (Israel) under the pretext of entering “without permits,” in what human rights groups have condemned as a systematic campaign of persecution targeting Palestinians seeking to earn a livelihood under conditions of siege and economic strangulation.

In addition, 61 individuals—including employers, drivers, and hosts—were arrested for allegedly providing shelter, transportation, or employment to these workers.

The police acknowledged that the Jerusalem area and its surroundings were the primary focus of the campaign, with 328 workers and 34 employers arrested in that zone alone.

Among the cases cited was the arrest of a driver in Eilat who was transporting Palestinian workers in a commercial vehicle, two of whom were found hidden in the back of the vehicle.

Even Palestinians who hold work permits endure degrading and exhausting conditions at Israeli military checkpoints. Many begin their day before dawn and wait in crowded, dehumanizing inspection lines for hours before being allowed to cross into their workplaces.

Due to the collapse of the economy in the West Bank and Gaza Strip—exacerbated by decades of Israeli policies of military closures and land seizures—many Palestinians risk arrest and harassment to work inside the 1948 territories. With job opportunities scarce and wages low in Palestinian areas, crossing into Israeli-controlled regions has become a lifeline for thousands of families.

Activists report that Palestinian workers are often forced to sleep outdoors—under trees, in abandoned structures, or on construction sites—to avoid daily police patrols and checkpoints, highlighting the inhumane cost of survival under military occupation.

The Israeli police’s arrest campaigns have been particularly intense in the Galilee, the Triangle, the Negev, and along the coast, where many Palestinians work in construction and service sectors. Human rights organizations have denounced these practices as a form of collective punishment and racial profiling, part of a broader strategy of marginalization and control.

This escalation in arrests comes as Israel intensifies its security and economic stranglehold on Palestinian territories amid international condemnation of its ongoing war crimes in Gaza and the West Bank. Critics argue that these arrests strip Palestinians of their most basic right—the right to work—and reflect the discriminatory core of the occupation regime.

Israeli occupation forces order Jineen residents to forcibly evacuate residential building by morning

Jineen, June 29, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces ordered residents of a residential building in Jineen to evacuate by Monday morning, as part of their ongoing aggression against the city and its refugee camp.

Local sources reported that the forces gave residents of the Al-Tahir building, located in the Al-Jabriyat neighborhood, until Monday morning to completely leave the premises.

This development comes amid Israel’s continued military campaign in Jineen and its refugee camp, which has now entered its 160th consecutive day. The prolonged onslaught has so far resulted in the killing of 40 Palestinians, along with dozens of injuries, mass detentions, and extensive destruction of infrastructure and private property.

Dozens of the illegal Israeli settlers defile Al-Aqsa Mosque

Sunday 29-June-2025

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC)

Scores of the illegal Israeli settlers desecrated the Aqsa Mosque in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), on Sunday morning and later in the afternoon, amid tight restrictions on the entry of Muslim worshipers to the holy site.

According to the Islamic Awqaf Administration in the holy city, at least 110 of the illegal Israeli settlers entered the Mosque in the morning through its Maghariba Gate and provocatively toured its courtyards under police protection.

During their tours at the Islamic holy site, the illegal Israeli settlers received lectures from rabbis about the alleged temple mount and a number of them provocatively performed Talmudic prayers in the eastern area of the Mosque.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation police imposed movement and entry restrictions on Muslim worshipers at Al-Aqsa Mosque’s entrances and gates and prevented many of them from entering the holy site.

In a related context, Palestinian activists urged their compatriots in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) and 1948 occupied Palestine to intensify their presence inside the Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards and premises after it was reopened following several days of Israeli closure.

Illegal Israeli settlers attack citizens’ homes, injure elderly man and youth in Masafer Yatta

Al-Khaleel (Hebron), June 29, 2025 (WAFA) –

An elderly man and a youth were injured on Sunday evening during an attack by a group of the illegal Israeli settlers targeting residents and their homes in the village of Sousiya, located in the Masafer Yatta area south of Hebron Governorate, according to a local activist.

Human rights activist Osama Makhamreh reported that a group of armed colonists, under the protection of Israeli forces, attacked residents’ homes in the village—part of the Masafir Yatta communities—and physically assaulted locals, causing bruises and injuries to several people.

Sources from the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that a 17-year-old boy sustained multiple bruises and injuries after being physically assaulted by the illegal settlers. He was transferred to a hospital for medical treatment.

An elderly man was also injured after being beaten during the attack and was taken by ambulance crews to Yatta Governmental Hospital for medical care.

The villages and communities of Masafir Yatta have been subjected to repeated colonists’ attacks as part of a policy of forced displacement practiced by the Israeli occupation authorities against Palestinian residents in the area.

JORDAN VALLEY, June 29, 2025 (WAFA) –

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers, on Sunday, forced Palestinian shepherds to leave their grazing lands in the northern Jordan Valley and launched an attack on the village of Al-Mughayyir northeast of Ramallah, according to local sources.

Sources reported that colonists, riding off-road vehicles, chased shepherds and forced them to leave their grazing lands in Khirbet Samra in the northern Jordan Valley..

In recent days, several Palestinian families from the Khirbet Samra began dismantling their homes and relocating due to the escalating wave of colonists’ attacks.

In a related incident, colonists, under the protection of Israeli forces, attacked the village of Al Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah.

Ameen Abu Alya, head of the Al-Mughayyir village council, informed WAFA that colonists targeted the outskirts of the village this evening, but the locals confronted them and forced their withdrawal.

Illegal Israeli settlers uproot 180 olive and citrus trees near Qalqilya

Sunday 29-June-2025

QALQILYA, (PIC)

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers uprooted approximately 180 trees and saplings in the town of 'Azzoun, east of Qalqilya, on Sunday, in yet another assault on Palestinian agricultural land.

According to local sources, settlers from the nearby Ma’ale Shomron settlement—illegally built on lands belonging to Azzun, Kafr Laqeef, and Jinsafout—uprooted 55 mature olive trees and 25 citrus trees, all owned by Palestinian farmer Radi Radwan. The trees were estimated to be around 15 years old.

The settlers also stole agricultural equipment, destroyed the farm’s irrigation network, and inflicted material damage estimated at 10,000 shekels (about $2,700).

In a separate attack, the settlers uprooted 100 olive saplings, approximately three years old, belonging to Ma'hmoud Radwan.

The assault occurred in the “Wadi Abu Shaar” area, situated near Road No. 55, a major route connecting Qalqilya and Nablus. The area has been the site of repeated settler attacks, often carried out under the protection or tacit support of Israeli occupation forces (IOF).

In a related development, IOFs have continued to block the entrance to Kafr Laqeef—a neighboring village—for 17 consecutive days, using an iron gate to restrict Palestinian movement.

The closure has forced residents to rely on rough, unpaved roads to access their homes and workplaces, further deepening their daily hardships.

These escalating attacks are part of a broader settler-colonial strategy aimed at displacing Palestinians from their land, particularly in Area C of the West Bank, where Israeli settlements continue to expand despite being illegal under international law.

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime seizes hundreds of dunums in Masafir Yatta for illegal settlement expansion

Al-Khaleel (Hebron), June 29, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation authorities issued notices to the Masafir Yatta village council, south of Al-Khaleel (Hebron), declaring the seizure of hundreds of dunums of Palestinian-owned land and several key roads to advance the expansion of the illegal settlements and link them to the illegal settler road network.

Nidhal Abu 'Aram, head of the Masafir Yatta village council, told WAFA that the occupation authorities issued a series of orders to seize agricultural lands and bar Palestinian residents from accessing or using the land, especially roads that connect the area’s village communities.

According to the notices, the occupation has seized the road linking the villages of Jinba and Bir al-‘Id, cutting off farmers and residents from hundreds of dunums of land. The move aims to link the colony of Mitzpe Yair to bypass Road 317, paving the way for further expansion of the colonial settlement at the expense of Palestinian lands.

One of the orders also targets the road linking the Wadi Ma’een and Umm Al-Shaq'han areas, and includes the appropriation of approximately three dunums of land belonging to a local family under the pretext of “military use.” This move will effectively bar the family from accessing nearly 700 dunums of olive groves.

In a related development, the occupation authorities issued another notice to confiscate large areas of land for the construction of a new settler road near the Giv’at Hanan colony, established illegally about four years ago on lands belonging to a Palestinian family.

The orders also include the seizure of an agricultural road in the Tha‘ala area to link the Havat Ma’on colony with bypass Road 317, along with the confiscation of land belonging to a Palestinian family.

Abu Aram noted that the rate of land seizures in Masafir Yatta has significantly accelerated since the onset of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip. He warned that the occupation is working to impose a new reality on the ground by expanding colonial settlements and fragmenting Palestinian villages and communities across the region.

UN: Illegal Israeli settlers' attacks in the West Bank are not isolated incidents

Sunday 29-June-2025

NEW YORK, (PIC)

The spokesperson for the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Thameen Al-Khaithan, expressed concern over the increasing attacks carried out by Israeli settlers against Palestinians in the city of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, stressing that these attacks are not isolated incidents.

Speaking to Anadolu Agency, Al-Khaithan said, “Dozens of armed settlers launched coordinated attacks on June 25 on several villages in Ramallah and Nablus. They set fire to Palestinian cars and homes and fired live bullets.”

He explained that three Palestinians were killed by Israeli occupation forces during the attack targeting a village near Ramallah, while at least six others were injured by gunfire.

Al-Khaithan added that the Israeli army claimed that Palestinians threw stones and used firearms against the Israeli settlers and security forces.

Commenting on the attack near Ramallah, Al-Khaithan said, “This is not an isolated incident. It is part of an ongoing pattern of discriminatory legal practices adopted by the occupation forces, who are usually present at the sites of such attacks, yet—despite being an occupying force with the responsibility to protect the Palestinian people—they refrain from intervening.”

He pointed out that reports prepared by the High Commissioner’s Office regarding casualties in the region since October 7, 2023, show that Israeli settlers have killed 14 Palestinians in the West Bank, including two children.

PMA calls for international intervention to resolve shekel accumulation crisis in banks

Sunday 29-June-2025

RAMALLAH, (PIC)

The Palestine Monetary Authority (PMA) has called for international intervention to resolve the crisis of the accumulation of Israeli shekels in banks operating in Palestinian territories, warning of economic and banking repercussions that threaten the stability of the financial system.

This came during discussions held by the Governor of the PMA, Ya'hya Shunnar, with the British Consul General, Helen Winterton, at the Authority’s headquarters in Ramallah, in the central West Bank, according to a statement issued by the PMA.

The statement said the meeting discussed “the crisis of the surplus accumulation of shekels in banks operating in Palestine and its impact on the economic and banking conditions,” in addition to the effect of the excess liquidity on the banks’ ability to meet the needs of citizens and economic sectors, especially the commercial sector.

Shunnar noted that the PMA has taken measures to ensure the continued provision of essential banking services, stressing the importance of international community intervention to pressure the Israeli side to comply with existing agreements regarding the reception of excess shekels.

For her part, Winterton affirmed the British government’s support for Palestinian efforts to strengthen financial stability, emphasizing the importance of international coordination in addressing escalating Palestinian economic challenges.

The West Bank has been witnessing a worsening shekel accumulation crisis for several weeks, which led banks to halt accepting cash deposits in this currency. The PMA then intervened by setting deposit limits and encouraging the adoption of electronic payment methods.

Israeli authorities have refused to respond to requests to transfer excess shekels from Palestinian banks to their Israeli counterparts, imposing restrictions and limits that do not meet the banks’ needs to fund and carry out commercial operations.

Before the outbreak of the Israeli war on Gaza, the PMA used to coordinate with Israeli banks to transfer the excess currency at a quarterly rate of about 4 billion shekels (approximately $1.16 billion).

According to the Association of Banks in Palestine, “billions of shekels” are currently stockpiled in the vaults of banks operating in Palestine, which hinders the replenishment of bank accounts in Israeli banks and, consequently, affects the execution of commercial and financial transactions between the two sides.

Under the Paris Economic Protocol, signed in 1994, the shekel is the primary currency in circulation in Palestine and is used for payments and purchases of essential goods and services.

Palestinian exports to Israel constitute about 85% of total exports, while imports from the Israeli market account for around 55%, including electricity, water, fuel, and food products.

Most of these trade transactions are conducted in shekels, with an annual average of banking operations estimated at 50 billion shekels, according to the PMA. There are 13 banks operating in the Palestinian market, including 7 local and 6 foreign banks — five of which are Jordanian and one Egyptian.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
